Kicking Off with CapEx

Mantec Technical Ceramics has kicked off 2024 with further capital investment, aimed at consolidating its manufacturing portfolio. The team at the Longton factory in Stoke-on-Trent is just preparing to install a brand new 400-tonne hydraulic press, which should be fully operational in just a few weeks. Additionally, two further intermittent kilns have been brought on site, with installation and commissioning scheduled for March.

Director Mark Berrisford said: “We are constantly casting a wider net in terms of the type and size of specialist products that we can manufacture, playing to our strengths by drawing on the vast experience that we have in the field of ceramic and related technologies. These investments put us in a good position to answer the call for a UK-based solution when it comes to meeting demands for increased product supply, both for home and export markets.”
