Mantec Technical Ceramics has announced a welcome additional option to ceramics manufacturers as it widens its contract spray drying service.
We have decades of expertise in this area, operating atomising spray dryers on a batching basis.
Customers find the Mantec option to be particularly flexible and cost effective. Few companies have spray drying facilities but nevertheless require material in a granulate form for pressing and these products can be supplied via various routes.
Larger manufacturers routinely want certain batches to be produced by a third party, added to which they always need somewhere to turn when they experience bottlenecking or under capacity on their own facilities.
Typical batch sizes processed are around 10 tons to 40 tonnes although we have a good deal of flexibility due to the nature of our operations. We know that consistent quality is of paramount importance and our routine inspection procedures include working to our own or our customers’ exacting standards.
If a free-flowing dry or semi-dry granulate is required for pressing or you simply want to de-water slurries to produce dry or damp powders, Mantec’s spray drying may be an option worth considering.
