Ceramitec 2015 – Mantec Paints the Big Picture

4 September 2015

There is great confidence in the camp as Mantec Technical Ceramics (Stoke-on-Trent, England) prepares for its participation next month in the Ceramitec exhibition in Munich.  On the largest exhibition stand to date for this show, the Mantec technical sales team will show just how significant the progress has been, how far the innovation premium has risen and the performance advantage that is being passed on to its many customers.

“Our main aim at this triennial event is to present for the very first time in one location the full depth of Mantec’s complete product range,” commented global sales manager Adrian Wake. “The display at Ceramitec – one of the world’s most important events for the sector – will demonstrate our extensive ceramic manufacturing expertise, our deep technical knowledge and our wide-ranging know-how.”

The Mantec stand is positioned in the area that showcases high temperature products, thermal processing and technical ceramics and the company’s display will fall under three headings:

Kiln & Furnace Products – temperature control (Bullers Rings & Bullers Process Control Discs); insulation (Ultralite Thermal Insulation, including the new Ultralite Insulating Firebricks).

Porous Ceramics – filtration (Star-Sep ceramic membranes, ceramic substrates, ceramic filters, filter housings, Puremet ceramic metal pour filters); aeration & diffusion (fine bubble diffusion, ceramic diffusers, EPDM membrane diffusers); and fluidisation (porous ceramic tiles).

Technical/Advanced Ceramics – ceramic radiants; electrical porcelain/insulators; element supports; speciality ceramics (soil science, ceramic crucibles, ceramics for controlled release).

“The breadth of our product range enables us to offer high performance products for a number of key global manufacturing segments,” explained Adrian Wake. “In ceramics these include brick & roof tile, sanitaryware, tableware and technical ceramics – elsewhere we remain an important supplier to the aerospace, defence, wastewater treatment, filtration, petrochemical, botanicals and electronics industries.”

Ceramitec takes place in Munich from 20–23 October and Mantec Technical Ceramics will exhibit on Stand 311 in Hall A2. If you wish to arrange a meeting in advance then please just e-mail Adrian Wake at
